Server

A server is a program that completes tasks for users including providing shared services to various workstations. There are two types of servers: file servers that store and make files accessible to multiple clients, and application servers that run computer programs to fulfill tasks for users. The latter can include web, mail, and database servers commonly used on the internet.

Malvertising

Also known as malicious advertising, occurs when unwanted malicious software is installed through internet advertisements. Social media networks are common websites where this type of attack occur; however, any website with third party content can have malicious advertising.
